Smetanova Litomyšl, Festival Gardens
July 2 / 18:00 - 19:00
The concert, entitled ‘100’, is a kaleidoscopic journey through the soundscape of Transylvania, Banat, Crişana, Maramureş, Bucovina, Moldova, Bessarabia, Oltenia, Muntenia and Dobrogea, the regions that came together at the end of the Great War, in 1918. The music is also based on works by Enescu, Bartok, Rogalski and Satie, great composers inspired by romanian folklore.
Offered by the Imago Mundi Ensemble, performed on classical and traditional instruments with stunning visuals, the concert provides an irresistible, and metaphorical, blend of the traditional and the contemporary.
